‘Lil’ Dove
$10.00Lil Dove is an embellished shape that has been Needleturn appliqued onto a solid linen background, embellishments include the techniques of beading, embroidery filler stitches, thread painting and combinations of each technique.
The shape is appliqued to the linen background using the technique of Needleturn applique and when finished – it is reverse needleturned onto the next background.
Lastly, the design is surrounded by Batik fabric. The design can be made into a wall hanging or framed in an ornate picture frame.
